Step-by-Step Process:

1. Log in to Facebook:

   • Open your web browser and go to Facebook.
   • Log in to your Facebook account using your credentials.

2. Access Business Settings:

   • Navigate to the Facebook Business Manager.
   • Click on the menu icon in the top left corner.
   • Select “Business Settings” from the dropdown menu.

3. Add Your Business Details:

   • In the Business Settings, click on “Business Info” in the left sidebar.
   • Fill in the required details such as Business Name, Address, and Contact Information.
   • Upload the official document you have prepared to verify your business information.

4. Set Up Your Website:

   • Ensure your company URL is live and the legal name is in the footer.
   • Navigate to your company’s URL and double-check that all information is correct.

5. Add Your Business Email:

   • Go to the “Contact Info” section in Business Settings.
   • Add your official business email.

6. Verify Your Business:

   • After filling in all the necessary details and uploading the documents, submit your verification request.
   • Facebook will review the information and documents provided. This process may take some time, so be patient.

7. Notification of Verification:

   • Once your business is verified, you will receive a notification from Facebook.
   • You can now proceed to set up your WhatsApp Business Account with verified status.

Preparation for Business Verification

To increase the company's chances of being verified by Meta, it is important that:

The company's website is active, with SSL, and is complete, containing the company's name, address, and phone number, which matches the one provided by the Business Manager.

The account email is from the same domain as the company's website provided in the documentation

If the verification will be made through the phone number, make sure it is able to receive the call. If the phone has IVR, disable it temporarily

The company's trade name in the documentation is the same used on the website and on the Facebook page. If different, the names need to be related in some way on the website. For example, at the footer, enter "Company ABC powered by Company D"

After submitting the documentation, the client will be informed via email about the progress of the company's verification.

Documents verifying the Legal Business Name and Business Address or Phone Number The client may be asked in to provide official documentation of the business legal name and the mailing address or phone number provided previously.

It's important to upload official documents that matches the business legal name entered in step 1, such as a business license, articles of incorporation or business tax registration. The documents for address and phone number also need to show the legal name of the business.

Below documents are acceptable for India.

• Business bank statement
• Business license
• Certificate of incorporation
• Goods and services tax registration certificate(GST)
• Permanent Account Number Card (PAN)
• Shop establishment certificate
• Udyog Aadar (UID)
• Utility bill

Documents that are not accepted are:

• Invoices
• Purchase Orders
• Self-filled applications for the company
• Tax returns filed by you or your company
• Website print
• Other documents like company flyers, letterhead, etc.

After the documents are uploaded, Meta will review them as quickly as they can. This may take up to 14 business days.
